Swahili International Tourism Expo
(S!TE) 6-8 October 2016

The Swahili International Tourism Expo (S!TE) is now an annual highlight on the Global Tourism Calendar. It positions Tanzania, Zanzibar and East Africa as lucrative tourist destinations. It also offers tour operators, travel and hospitality industry professionals a wealth of new business opportunities.

Following on the success of the inaugural S!TE in 2014, the 2016 S!TE will be held in Dar-es-Salaam, at the Mlimani City Convention Centre from 6-8 October 2016. With a Travel and Trade Exhibition as well as a dynamic conference element, the Expo will market the region as a global powerhouse in terms of tourism, business and global trade prospects.

A diverse melting pot of cultures, traditions and people also make this region a visual and sensory delight. Currency exchange rates also ensure value-for-money services for tourists and businesses alike.

Tanzania and East Africa are home to some of the world’s most beautiful tropical beaches, exotic islands and pristine coral reefs. The region also boasts incredible game lodges, wildlife parks and adventure, such as the Serengeti and Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Opportunities in eco-tourism, nature conservation, travel, trade, hospitality, service and marketing will continue to open up as S!TE grows in popularity and stature.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet, network, explore and forge new business ties with a range of industry-related professionals. With representation from the Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB), regional governments and market leaders, S!TE promises to deliver above and beyond expectations.

Pure Grit Project and Exhibition Management Ltd, a leading African and international event management company, will manage the event, with guided by Tanzania Tourist Board, who will be hosting it.
